I admit it. I’m a nerd. AND I love learning new things.
A couple of weeks ago, I learned that the Grand Teton mountain range is a special type of range called a fault block mountain range. It’s why they look like they are just thrust up out of the ground, with no foothills or anything. We took a floating trip down the Snake River and our guide mentioned it and I knew I would be coming back home and looking up the term for more information. Like I said, nerd.
Science is way cool, though. So in my own estimation, I am a cool nerd. Life is all about perspective.
